Kerala autorickshaw driver installs tap in vehicle to wash hands; netizens applaud initiative

A video that has gone viral with over a million views on Twitter shows an autorickshaw driver requesting a passenger to wash his hands before boarding the vehicle


Vehicles have started to ply on roads in almost every state in India. This is a big threat to community transmission of coronavirus. However, an autorickshaw driver from Kerala is trying to do all he can to keep trouble away for him and passengers.

The autorickshaw driver has installed a tap to his vehicle for people to wash their hands. A video of this has gone viral on social media platforms too. In the video, the driver is seen asking passengers to wash his hands before boarding the vehicle.

The man is then seen turning on the tap and washing his hands with liquid soap before entering.

Businessman Harsh Goenka too shared the video on his social media account. He wrote, “Auto rickshaw with hand washing and sanitiser facilities."
