
Bengaluru: Karnataka law and parliamentary affairs Minister JC Madhuswamy has tested positive for COVID-19 on September 28.
The minister has been admitted at a private hospital in the city and the hospital clarified that he has tested positive for the virus.
JC Madhuswamy reportedly underwent the COVID-19 test after his driver and cook contracted the virus
The minister had also attended the recently concluded Karnataka Assembly session at the Vidhana Soudha.

Earlier this month Deputy Chief Minister Govind Karjol and Gandhinagar MLA Dinesh Gundu Rao also tested positive. Congress leader HK Patil too tested positive for the virus on Monday, following the conclusion of the monsoon session of the Assembly.
Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, Health Minister B Sriramulu, Forest Minister Anand Singh, Tourism Minister CT Ravi, Agriculture Minister BC Patil, Leader of Opposition Siddaramaiah and KPCC president DK Shivakumar are among those who tested positive for the virus and recovered.
