Synopsis

Son of senior Congress leader is reportedly involved with drug mafia in Karnataka. He was reportedly in touch with Anikha and supplied drugs to VIPs in the state.

Bengaluru: The consumption of drugs in the Kannada film industry came to light after the Narcotics Control Bureau seized drugs worth crores of rupees.

The NCB conducted raids in various places in the city and arrested three drug dealers named Anikha D, Mohammed Anoop, and Rijesh Ravindran. Now there are reports that a senior Congress leader’s son was involved with them.

If reports are anything to go by, this Congress leader’s son supplied drugs to popular actors, politicians and businessmen.

The politician’s son is known to organise parties in pubs, bars, and resorts in the outskirts of the city.

With his influential father’s power, the alleged drug supplier is very close friends with Sandalwood actors and politicians, and all of them regularly spent time together.

Anikha who has become the talk of the town was reportedly invited to these parties regularly in order to supply drugs to actors and politicians.

The alleged Congress leader’s son hails from Kerala. Since Anoop and Rijesh who were involved with Anikha were also from Kerala, it is reported that the politician’s son used them to import drugs from abroad.
