A joyful wedding celebration in Jharkhand’s Jamshedpur turned into a tragedy when a 41-year-old man died after a rasgulla got stuck in his throat during the feast. The incident occurred on Saturday in Maliyanta village, where Lalit Singh had arrived to attend a wedding ceremony along with other guests. Amid the celebrations, Singh was eating dessert when the sweet reportedly got stuck in his throat.
According to doctors, the rasgulla blocked his airway, abruptly cutting off the oxygen supply to his body. Medical experts said the dessert had completely obstructed his airways, leaving him unable to breathe.
Witnesses said Singh suddenly collapsed while the feast was underway, sparking panic. Guests at the venue immediately rushed him for medical assistance, but the situation had already turned critical.
Doctors later confirmed that the blockage proved fatal, and Singh died within minutes due to the severe obstruction.
