Shopian: A terrorist was killed on August 19 when an encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in Shopian district. According to reports, Jammu and Kashmir Police said that two to three terrorists are trapped in the area.
Jammu and Kashmir Police added that the search operations are still on going to track the other terrorists in the area.
Reports added that security forces had launched a search operation based on information about the presence of militants in Chitragam village. Later the search operation led into an encounter.
