Heavy rains were recorded in Bengaluru last night. People living in parts of Bengaluru like Horamavu, Hennur, Sanjaynagar experienced flood like situations.

Bengaluru: Very heavy rains were experienced across Bengaluru from midnight to morning on Wednesday.

Unexpected rains have lashed the entire city creating flood like situations in Horamavu, Hennur, Sanjaynagar, Sahakarnagar and a few more areas.

Most of the residents of these areas were up all night as the power supply was cut down and the water from the roads started entering their houses.

Despite several calls made to both BBMP and BESCOM by the residents, none of the civic bodies came to their help.

The residents of these areas complained that waterlogged roads led to flooding in their homes because of the poor sewage and drainage system in their areas.

Our area in Bangalore has no since last night's rains. reportedly has faced flooding in its feeder stations. Recipe for India in an unhinged cleanliness campaign.
