A teacher shot dead a monkey roaming on his terrace and soon an FIR was registered against him by agitated villagers in Uttar Pradesh.
Sadiranpur resident Musharraf Hussain shot a monkey yesterday, who died immediately, police said today.
An FIR was registered against the teacher and the body of the monkey was sent for postmortem.
The cops are currently investigating the case and are on the hunt for the absconding teacher.
