A 25-year-old drunk man in Delhi smashed his wife’s head with a brick, washed the body and had sex with her corpse for one last time. This incident came to light last week after Pradeep Sharma confessed to the Delhi police that he killed his wife Monika on May 30th after they had a fight over financial problems.
According to the owner of their flat, the couple fought with each other quite often. However, the couple were issued eviction notice on May 30th after they failed to pay the rent. This called for another fight and in the heat of the moment, Sharma picked up a brick and hit her on the face three times.
As reported in the Times of India, Sharma said "I bought liquor and asked Monika to share it with me. I explained to her that we should learn to manage with my current earnings and that I would soon find a better paying job. However, she went on and on about how I had ruined her life. I picked up a brick and hit her on the face three times. She began to bleed profusely and started screaming for help."
After she had started screaming for help, Sharma banged her head against the wall until she died. He further revealed "I made love to her for the last time and apologised to her. I passed out beside her and only woke up around 10 am the next morning."
