Coronavirus: Unlock 5 guidelines issued on September 30 to remain in force till November 30: MHA

New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) issued an order on Tuesday to extend the guidelines for re-opening, issued on September 30, to remain in force up to November 30, 2020. The order further said that the lockdown shall continue to be implemented strictly in the containment zones till November 30, 2020.

There shall be no restriction on inter-state and intra-state movement of persons and goods. No separate permission/approval/e-permit will be required for such movements, the MHA said in a statement.

Unlock 6.0 norms on same lines as announced on September 30, except for stress on following PM ‘Jan Andolan’ call for Covid-appropriate behaviour such as wearing masks, washing hands frequently and maintaining distance of 6 feet.

Since the issuance of the first order on lockdown measures by MHA on March 24, 2020, almost all activities have been gradually opened up in areas outside the Containment Zones.
