Coronavirus: Union home minister Amit Shah discharged from AIIMS

Union home minister Amit Shah was admitted to AIIMS in New Delhi for a complete medical check up  


New Delhi: On September 17, Union home minister Amit Shah was discharged from AIIMS after check-up. Amit Shah was admitted to hospital on Saturday.

Shah was earlier admitted to Medanta hospital after testing positive for Covid-19 on August 2. After the home minister made a full recovery, he was discharged from the hospital on August 14.

On August 17, he was rushed to AIIMS for post COVID-19 treatment and discharged on August 30.

India's COVID-19 case tally crossed the 51-lakh mark with a spike of 97,804 cases and 1,132 deaths in the last 24 hours.

The total case tally stands at 51,18,254 in the country including 10,09,976 active cases, 40,25,080 cured/discharged/migrated and 83,100 deaths.
