Former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya's health condition has improved slightly. He was taken out of the ventilator. He has been kept on BiPap support. According to hospital sources, Buddhadeb Bhattacharya has been responding well to the treatment. He spoke with his daughter and wife. One person was allowed to enter his cabin in the hospital.
CPM leader Buddhadeb Bhattacharya's doctor Kaushik Chakraborty said that the crisis was over. The former WB chief minister was admitted to a private hospital in south Kolkata on Wednesday (December 9) afternoon after he fell unconscious following severe breathing distress. When he was brought to the hospital, the amount of oxygen in his body was low. So, he was put on a ventilator with the permission of his family members.

The hospital authorities also said that his sleeping pills have been stopped since Friday (December 11) morning. Doctors also said that he was taken out of the ventilator at around 11.30 am on Friday.
Former Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya has been suffering from COPD for a long time. He was admitted to a private hospital in South Kolkata on Wednesday due to his deteriorating health condition.
An 11-member medical team has been formed for his treatment. He has been put on ventilator after he was admitted to hospital. However, he was kept on BiPap support on Friday.
