BJP leader Sayantan Basu slammed West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee without taking her name. It is alleged that he had made vulgar remarks against the Chief Minister.
 


BJP leader Sayantan Basu slammed West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee without taking her name. It is alleged that vulgar remarks have been made against the Chief Minister. The incident caused a storm of criticism in the ruling party. 

It is alleged that Sayantan Basu made vulgar remarks against Mamata Banerjee while visiting Malda on Friday (December 25). Sayantan Basu attended a tea party in English Bazar area of Malda. In the Rabindranath Bhavan area, he said, “The flowers of Mamata Banerjee’s house have dried up. No one will go to her house in Kalighat. “

BJP leader Sayantan Basu further claimed, “The backs of the Trinamool Congress ministers and leaders could not be saved if the state government starts the recruitment process for TET. The law and order situation will deteriorate. The TMC leader has taken a lot of money from the students appearing for the TET exam. The TET’s appointment needed to be postponed.”

The Trinamool has sharply criticized the Chief Minister's remarks. State Trinamool spokesperson Nirbed Roy said, “Sayantan Basu had shown his class by using this kind of filthy words. I ignore such vulgar remarks.”

Apart from Sayantan, local leaders including BJP district president Govind Chandra Mandal and English Bazar Dakshin Nagar Mandal president Rajiv Champati were also present at the tea party in English Bazar. Sayantan Basu handed over the BJP flag to some workers who had left different parties during the program.
