Army recruiters receive application from 'PM Modi'

Synopsis

An application in the name of PM Narendra Modi - duly accompanied by his photograph and other details - was sent to an army recruitment team in New Delhi, taking the officers aback.

In a short while, the officers discovered that the application was not actually sent by the PM, but an unidentified person.

The man has filled in the application under the roll number 2430026090. Other details included: Father’s name: Rarendra Modi and Mother’s name: Raj.

Amusingly, the confident trickster had also downloaded the entrance applications for the medical fitness test, even before his application was official rejected.

A complaint in this regard has been filed with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). The cyber cell of the Delhi police department also has started a probe on the online application.

The team is trying to discover the IP address from where the request was submitted.
