Amit Shah meets BJP worker Madan Ghori’s family in Kolkata

Synopsis

After arriving in Kolkata on Wednesday (November 4) night, Union Home Minister Amit Shah met the family of BJP worker Madan Ghori, who was allegedly killed in judicial custody. The Union Home Minister tweeted the photo of the meeting and wrote, "I met the family of our martyr booth Vice President Madan Ghori." I salute this brave family.  

Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Kolkata on a two-day tour on Wednesday (November 4) night. 

Amit Shah met the family of BJP worker Madan Ghori, who was allegedly killed in judicial custody. Madan, who was arrested on 26 September on kidnapping charges, died in judicial custody on 13 October.

The Union Home Minister tweeted the photo of the meeting and wrote, "I met the family of our martyr booth Vice President Madan Ghori." I salute this brave family.

 

Ahead of his visit to Bengal, the Union Minister, in an attempt to connect with Bengal people, tweeted in local language. "I will arrive in West Bengal today on a two-day visit. I look forward to exchanging views with the functionaries of BJP West Bengal unit, the people of West Bengal, friends in the media and representatives of various communities,” Shah wrote in Bengali on his Twitter account.

Amit Shah will visit Bankura today (November 5) and chair a meeting with the local BJP leaders and will also meet members of various communities of the tribal Jangalmahal area.
