
Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached Bankura in West Bengal. Amit Shah landed at the Bankura helipad at 11:20 am on Thursday (November 5). He will hold an organisational meeting for the party in the key Jangalmahal area.
The Union Home Minister first went to Puabagan, where he garlanded the statue of Birsa Munda. Subsequently, Amit Shah will attend a meeting of the organization at Bankura's Ravindra Bhavan.
After the meeting, Amit Shah will go to Chaturthi village, where he will have lunch with a tribal family. He will return to Kolkata on Thursday (November 5) night.
Bankura district has been prepared to welcome Amit Shah as banners have been put up all across the district.
According to sources, Shah has arrived to take stock of the party's organizational preparations in view of the 2021 assembly elections. This is Shah's first visit to Bengal in the Corona period. Earlier, he came here on March 1.
