Delicious bajjis cost 60-year-old man ₹4 lakh

Prahlad Patel, from Madhavpur in Ahmedabad, was delivering a parcel of ₹4 lakh cash from the courier to his employer when, en route, the fragrance of piping hot savouries assaulted his nostrils.

Overpowered by the desire to taste what was driving him nuts, Prahlad parked his bike on the wayside and rushed to the bajji shop, forgetting all about the ₹4 lakh nestled in the vehicle.

Having had his fill, Prahlad suddenly remembered the cash he had left lying around and rushed to his bike, only to find the bag containing it missing.

Although Prahlad's boss was initially disbelieving of his tale, he later filed a complaint with the police, who are checking CCTV footage for clues.
