After the arrest of 19-year-old Amulya Leona, who shouted Pakistan Zindabad on stage in Bengaluru's Freedom Park a few days ago, a 42-year-old man did the same at mini Vidhana Soudha in Udupi district of Karnataka. He has now been charged under sedition case.
Mangaluru: The person is identified as Raghavendra Ganiga, who is a Hindi teacher at a private school. He had reportedly quit his profession and later came to mini Vidhana Soudha and was continuously shouting pro-Pakistan slogans, leaving onlookers shocked.

Later, the police came and took him in the jeep. A case under IPC section 124A was registered. The accused was produced before the court, which has placed him under 14-day judicial custody.
According to information, the accused is married and has a daughter. Due to his alleged mental condition, he is being treated.
Yesterday, when his mother took him to the hospital, Raghavendra escaped from the queue, enter the government office and starred shouting slogans hailing Pakistan.
When the accused was put in station jail too, he was seen shouting “Pakistan Zindabad”. He will remain lodged in Hiriyadka Sub-Jail till March 16.
