Navy's MiG-29K crashes off Goa coast; pilot ejects safely, rescued

According to the Indian Navy spokesperson, the pilot managed to eject safely and has been recovered in a 'swift search and rescue operation'.


A MiG-29K on a routine sortie over the sea off Goa on Wednesday developed a technical malfunction while returning to base.

The pilot is reported to be in stable condition.

A Board of Inquiry has been ordered to probe the incident, the naval spokesman added.
