The 12th round of military-level talks between India and China will be taking place on Saturday with the focus on disengagement from Gogra and Hot Springs in Eastern Ladakh.

As per the sources in the defence establishment, the talks are scheduled to take place at 1030 hours at Moldo on the Chinese side opposite India's Chushul.

So far, the troops of two Himalayan giants have disengaged from both the banks of Pangong Tso in February this year.

After the 12th round of talks, a Major General-level dialogue is also scheduled to be held.

The troops of the two countries have engaged in border standoff at multiple locations in Eastern Ladakh since May last year.

The two forces even had a violent faceoff in the Galwan Valley in June last year, wherein 20 Indian soldiers were killed while the Chinese also suffered massive casualties. However, Beijing officially accepted only four casualties.

So far, apart from 11 rounds of Corps Commanders-level talks, the two forces have also held 10 Major Generals level, 55 Brigadiers-level talks and 1450 calls over the hotlines.

The 11th round of Military talks was held at Chushul on April 9.
