Arizona, Wisconsin certify Joe Biden's victories

In a major setback for US President Donald Trump, Arizona and Wisconsin have certified Joe Biden as victorious.

Biden won the election by over 10,000 votes in Arizona riding on his popularity in the state's largest county Maricopa.

Secretary of State nominee Katie Hobbs said, "Despite the unprecedented challenges, Arizonans showed up for our democracy. This election was conducted with transparency, accuracy and fairness in accordance with Arizona's laws and election procedures, despite numerous unfounded claims to the contrary."

Wisconsin's certification follows the conclusion of recounts, requested and subsidized with $3 million from President Trump's campaign, in Dane and Milwaukee Counties which resulted in Biden adding 87 votes to his statewide margin.

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers certified the results in the state. "I carried out my duty to certify the November 3rd election, and as required by state and federal law, I have signed the Certificate of Ascertainment for the slate of electors for President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris," Evers said in a statement.

"I want to thank our clerks, election administrators, and poll workers across our state for working tirelessly to ensure we had a safe, fair, and efficient election. Thank you for all your good work."
