The exam will be administered at about 3,993 examination venues throughout the state, with roughly 592 testing centres established in Jaipur alone. Meanwhile, the board has released a list of guidelines that all applicants must follow before taking the REET 2021 exam.

Today, September 26, the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) will organise the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2021 in offline mode. Over 16 lakh applicants will take the test this year. It is being held for 31,000 Grade 3 teaching positions in the state.

Candidates must bring their admission cards to the test, made available on September 18 via the BSER's official website, reetbser21.com. They must also provide proper official identities, such as an Aadhar card or voter card.

It is mandatory to bring a pencil and a pen, and no valuables are permitted within the exam room. Students are not permitted to share any stationery. Candidates are not permitted to carry watches, rings, lockets, or other jewellery, chains, handbags, purses, or diaries inside the test centre. According to the guidelines, electronic gadgets such as calculators, cell phones, and Bluetooth are not permitted.

The centres will open one hour before the exam and shut 30 minutes before it begins. As a result, applicants must arrive on time.
During the exam, all COVID-19 protocols will be observed. Overcrowding is not permitted, and masks must be worn at all times. Candidates must follow all social distancing rules.

Two house guards and two male and two female cops will be stationed at the exam centre to ensure that applicants are appropriately checked and frisked. In addition, for high-level security, the government has stationed a flying squad at each of the centres. During the exam, this squad, together with an internal flying team, will be operational.

REET 2021 includes two papers that will be administered in two shits. The first shift will run from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., while the second shift will run from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Paper I is for applicants who want to teach Classes 1–5, whereas Paper II is for those who wish to teach Classes 6–8. Initially planned for June, the exam was eventually postponed owing to the Covid-19 issue.
