5) Delhi Metro authorities have shut Lal Quila station and restricted entry to Jama Masjid station amid heavy security deployment at Red Fort.6) Twitter has suspended over 300 accounts that engaged in spam and platform manipulation as the farmers' tractor rally went violent in the national capital on Republic Day.
7) A new assessment has revealed that over 300 policemen (313) were injured in the violence. Of these, 121 police personnel were injured in North Delhi, 78 in Outer Delhi, 34 in East Delhi, 32 in Dwarka, 27 in West Delhi, 12 in Outer North, 5 in Shahdara and 4 in South Delhi.8) Delhi Police said multiple videos and CCTV footage are being scanned to identify farmers involved in the violence and that strict action will be taken against the culprits.
9) Farmers' Unions are likely to call off their march towards Parliament on February 1. The Unions will meet today to discuss the matter after which an official announcement will be made.10) Union Tourism Minister Prahlad Patel visited Red Fort to inspect the damage to the iconic monument.
