Coronavirus: India reports 38,164 new COVID cases resulting in dip in active cases tally

India on Monday reported 38,164 new Covid cases and 499 deaths, as per Health Ministry's updated data.

While the daily positivity rate was recorded at 2.61%, the weekly positivity rate has declined to 2.08%, according to the Health Ministry.

Also, 14,63,593 tests were conducted on Sunday taking the total cumulative tests conducted so far for detection of Covid-19 in the country to 44,54,22,256.
