The OTT platform went on to say that it never intended to offend anyone. 

The scenes that were objected to were removed or edited when they were brought to our attention, Amazon Prime Video said, adding that the platform respects the viewers' diverse beliefs.

The web series, starring Saif Ali Khan, landed in a controversy over a scene depicting a college theatrical programme that allegedly hurt religious sentiments. 

The controversy saw multiple FIRs being filed against the show's directors and actors.

Following massive public outrage, the cast and the crew of the series tendered an apology and decided to cut the objectionable portions.
