Group G: Now, this group had already sealed its qualifiers, in the form of Juventus and Barcelona. However, the two were involved in a fierce clash on Tuesday, in a battle for supremacy between two modern-day GOATs, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. While Barca had won in Turin, Juventus turned it around at Camp Nou, winning 3-0, via Ronaldo's brace. Meanwhile, Dynamo Kyiv secured the third spot with a 1-0 home win over Ferencvaros.

Group H: This happened to be a dramatic group, as three teams happened to be in contention for qualifying. Manchester United needed a win against RB Leipzig to qualify, only to succumb to a 2-3 away defeat, to squander their chance and finish third. Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) faced off at home against Istanbul Basaksehir, only for the match to end prematurely, as the players walked off following the racial slur against the latter. While Leipzig finish on top, PSG take the second spot. Although the latter would replay their game on Wednesday, it would hardly have any implications on United's chances.

Teams demoted to Europa League: As per rules, the third-placed teams would now feature in the Round of 32 of the Europa League. Krasnodar, Brugge, Kyiv and United are the ones who would now feature in the second-tier European tournament.
