Indian para-athletes rocked Tokyo Paralympics, bagging 19 medals, including five golds. Meanwhile, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a splendid day out with the champs.

It was a record-breaking performance by the Indian para-athletes at the Tokyo Paralympics. The contingent won 19 medals, including five golds, as it was its best-ever performance in the global competition to date.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with the medal winners from the competition.

Here, Modi is seen interacting with Suhas Lalinakere Yathiraj, who won the silver in the badminton event.

Modi also interacted with Krishna Nagar (holding the microphone) for winning the gold medal in the badminton event.

As for here, Modi interacts with para-badminton player Palak Kohli, who missed out on the mixed doubles bronze along with her partner Pramod Bhagat.

It was a history-making moment for India in the Paralympics, as PM Modi was elated to have interacted with the champs.
