The observation wheel is supported by 192 cables which when lined up can stretch 2,400 km. 11,200 tonnes of steel was used to construct the Ain Dubai. That, reportedly, is 33 per cent more than the amount of iron used on the Eiffel Tower.

To be unveiled on October 21, the world’s largest and tallest observation wheel will offer a 360-degree view of Dubai from 250 metres in the sky. It is also 82 meters taller than the High Roller in Las Vegas.

Located at Bluewaters in Dubai, opposite Caesar's Palace Bluewaters Dubai, one full rotation of the observation wheel takes approximately 38 minutes.

The observation wheel will have 48 luxurious cabins -- each of which is larger than two double-decker buses -- which can accommodate a total of 1,750 people. And yes, each of the cabin is fully air-conditioned.

When it opens on October 21, Ain Dubai will be open from noon to 10pm every day.

Ain Dubai promoters Dubai Holding assure that the visitors to the observation wheel would not have motion sickness due to the altitude.
