 Violence erupted in Dankuni, Hooghly, over the BJP's youth wing’s protest march. Police stopped BJP workers at Dankuni Toll Plaza when they tried to go to Nabanna (State Secretariat of West Bengal). Protests by BJP workers sparked tension in the area.
