Suvendu Adhikari slams TMC after joining BJP

Suvendu Adhikari has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his Midnapore rally today (December 19).

TMC MP Sunil Mondal, nine MLAs, including five from Mamata Banerjee's party today joined BJP at Amit Shah's meeting in Midnapore.

The MLAs who joined the BJP are Suvendu Adhikari, Tapasi Mondal, Ashoke Dinda, Sudip Mukherjee, Saikat Panja, Shilbhadra Dutta, Dipali Biswas, Sukra Munda, Shyamapda Mukherjee, Biswajit Kundu & Banasri Maity.

After joining the BJP, Suvendu Adhikari slammed the TMC. He said,” Trinamool Congress humiliated me. Those who humiliated me are now calling me a backstabber. Mamata Banerjee is nobody's mother. There is only one mother and that is 'Bharat Mata'. TMC will lose the 2021 West Bengal polls.”

“I have got a lot of love and respect from BJP as compared to what I have got in TMC. I will fulfil all the wishes of Bengal and its people. I am assuring to all that I am not here to dominate or dictate terms to you. I will work as an ordinary worker of the BJP. BJP will win the 2021 Bengal polls,” he added.
