JP Nadda to visit Bengal on January 9; lunch scheduled at farmer’s house

BJP national president JP Nadda will visit West Bengal to boost the morale of party workers ahead of 2021 assembly polls. 
 

JP Nadda will participate in roadshows and number of other programs in Birbhum and other places of the state during his visit. He will also attend meetings with senior party leaders and workers.

During this visit, the all-India president of the BJP will have lunch in a farmer’s house. Before the meeting, he will offer prayers at Gouranga Kalibari in Katwa.

According to sources, few Trinamool leaders can join BJP during Nadda’s meeting in Bengal. Earlier, the BJP had said that JP Nadda and Amit Shah would visit Bengal every month before the Assembly polls.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Bengal on January 30. According to sources, Shah will hold a meeting with the Matua community in Bangaon. BJP MP Shantunu Tagore will also be present in the meeting.

Earlier, during JP Nadda’s visit to Bengal, his convoy was attacked in Diamond Harbour. The BJP has condemned the Bengal government for the incident. However, it remains to be seen what happens this time when JP Nadda visits Bengal.
