JP Nadda went to the houses of the farmers and collected rice to show that the BJP is sympathetic to the farmers. Not only that, he said that BJP will come to power in Bengal with the help of the farmers.
BJP All India President JP Nadda arrived in the state today. During his visit to Burdwan, JP Nadda questioned the Agriculture Act from the Katwa public meeting.
Nadda assured that the farmers would be benefitted from the three new agricultural laws. He said the people of the state have made up their minds for a change. He claimed that the BJP will bring a change in Bengal with the help of farmers.
JP Nadda said that a farmers' banquet will be organized in the state from January 24 to 31. According to sources, forty thousand farmers will be attending the feast.
From the meeting in Katwa, Nadda said, “The Modi government has increased the budget of farmers by a considerable amount. If the BJP comes to power in Bengal, the farmers will be benefitted. West Bengal ranks 24th in the country in terms of income from agriculture. There is no shortage of water. However, there is less irrigated land in the state. With the formation of a government in Bengal, we will launch a Farmers' Respect Fund in the state.”
JP Nadda complained that Mamata Banerjee did not allow 4 crore 47 lakh people in Bengal to take health insurance.
