Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman allots Rs 95,000 crore for construction of roads in West Bengal

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a huge budget for the up-gradation of West Bengal. Nirmala Sitharaman announced an allocation of Rs 95,000 crore for road development in West Bengal.
 

On Monday (February 1), the finance minister presented the union budget on transport. On the same day, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that 675 km highway will be in West Bengal. Kolkata and Siliguri roads are also included in the budget.
