Suvendu Adhikari sends legal notice to TMC leader at Murshidabad

BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari has sent a legal notice to TMC leader Shahnaz Begum for making derogatory remarks against him on social media. After joining the BJP, Suvendu Adhikari has always referred Abhishek Banerjee as 'Tolabaj Bhaipo'. The BJP leader has attacked Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee from every place where he has held meetings. 
 

Shahnaz Begum mocked Suvendu Adhikari by calling him a ‘Tolabaj’ and posted it on social media. After this incident, a new rivalry has started in the politics of Murshidabad.

A legal notice was sent to Shahnaz Begum on behalf of Suvendu Adhikari. The legal letter said, “Trinamool leader Shahnaz Begum will have to withdraw her remarks within a week. She has to make verbal or written apologies. Otherwise, legal action will be taken against Shahnaz Begum, the Trinamool president of Murshidabad.”

Trinamool leader Shahnaz Begum said, "I will not do anything following the notice. If he has to fight for it in a legal way, I agree to do so.”

The Trinamool leader wrote, "Suvendu Adhikari should come to Murshidabad and prove that he is not a Tolabaj.”

A legal notice was issued against Shahnaz Begum. Suvendu’s lawyer asked her to remove the post from social media. “I have been asked to apologize, but I will not apologize in any way," the TMC leader said.
