The Bengal BJP has not yet officially started campaigning for the Assembly elections. However, the BJP wants to improve public relations before that. BJP's all-India JP Nadda is going to visit Malda and Navadwip with a packed program for that purpose.

JP Nadda will inaugurate the Rath yatra from Nabadwip. Before that, he will take part in a public feast with the farmers of the Malda district. After having lunch, he will participate in a road show.

The farmer protection campaign started on January 10. Nadda’s 'Sahabhoj' has been cooked with the grains that were collected in the first collection campaign that has been going on in many places of North Bengal. So far, 30 farmers have been selected for lunch with Nadda.

While attending a public meeting, Nadda said, “Wherever I go, I see Mamata Banerjee and her nephew's picture. The people of Bengal are ready to say goodbye to Mamata.”

Nadda also taunted Abhishek Banerjee without naming him. He asked the public from the meeting, “Want to know, who is the 'trickster', 'triple thief'?”. The answer came from the meeting place - 'Bhaipo'.

JP Nadda gave a speech at the banquet stage of the Farmers Protection Campaign in Sahapur. Nadda said, “I am proud to take part in the banquet. We have reached about 33,000 villages. It will be 40,000 tomorrow. And 35 lakh farmers have joined it.”

“Mamata Banerjee, who has done injustice to the farmers in Bengal, has now changed her mind after 2.5 million farmers applied for the Prime Minister's Honorary Fund. Now there is no profit. If BJP comes to power in this state, the interests of the farmers will be protected,” he added.
