TMC leader Anubrata Mandal slammed BJP all-India president JP Nadda. Anubrata said, “The game is over. That is why there were not more than 1,000 people in the meeting of JP Nadda in Birbhum.”

JP Nadda started the ‘Paribartan Yatra’ on Tuesday after offering puja at Tarapith. He also held a meeting at Chillar Maidan in Birbhum.

Anubrata Mandal claimed that not more than 1,000 people attended the meeting of JP Nadda. Sitting at the Trinamool office in Bolpur, Anubrata Mandal showed pictures of JP Nadda’s meeting on his mobile phone and claimed that the BJP had failed to attract people to the meeting despite the arrival of heavyweight leaders.

However, Anubrata claimed that there was a 'game' behind less people attending Nadda’s meeting. In his words, 'There were less people in the meeting because the game has been played. If it weren't for the game, there would have been more people. The game will be played again.”

However, BJP district president Dhruv Saha refused to accept the statement of the TMC leader. He counterattacked Anubrata Mandal and said, “Anubrata seems to have eye problems. Therefore, he couldn’t see how many people were there in the meeting. He should go to the eye doctor.”

Anubrata claimed that the BJP was manipulating the people despite several heavyweight leaders trying to plant lotus flowers in Birbhum. He sneered at the BJP, saying, "Politics is not always about religion. Something has to be done. Something has to be paid. Mamata Banerjee is filling Bengal with both hands. Narendra Modi filled his pockets with lies. Mamata Banerjee brought development to the state.”
