Anupam Ghosh resigned from Howrah Sadar Trinamool Youth Congress on Friday (January 29). He sent his resignation letter to Trinamool Youth Congress state president Abhishek Banerjee.

"Tomorrow all the youth should follow the footsteps of Suvendu Adhikari, Rajib Banerjee," said Anupam Ghosh, resigning as president of the Howrah Sadar Trinamool Youth Congress. He further said, "Those who have made the party are not being given dignity in the team. The way the party is going now, it is really a corporate norm.”

The disintegration of the Howrah committee has been a headache for the Trinamool Congress for several days. After resigning from the ministry a few days ago, Rajiv Banerjee left the MLA post first and then the party on Friday (January 29). Besides, Rathin Chakraborty also said that he is going to BJP. Meanwhile, a few days ago, the Trinamool expelled Vaishali Dalmia from the party. However, it remains to be seen if any of these leaders will join the BJP.
