Navy gets 3 Mark-III Advanced Light Helicopters

Moving a step further in achieving India’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat' mission and to enhance the coastal security apparatus, state-owned plane maker Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has delivered three advanced light helicopter Mark-III to Indian Navy.

As per an Indian Navy official, the Navy had ordered for 16 Mk-III helicopters. "We have received the first batch of three helicopters today."
 

During Aero India show, HAL CMD R Madhavan handed over the helicopters to Indian Navy chief Admiral Karambir Singh.

 
Fully loaded for a multi-mission role, ALH Mk-III is fitted with an array of advanced sensors.

Mark-III features a full glass cockpit with HAL's Integrated Architecture Display System, more powerful "Shakti" (Safran Ardiden 1H1) engines and a host of new systems.
