During that event, veteran actor Kabir Bedi asked for Sunny Leone's mobile number when the two were busy in a chat with each other at the event. According to a Spotboye report, Sunny didn't share her number but in fact, gave her husband Daniel Weber's contact details to him.

Furious at the reports, Bedi took to Twitter and stated that he asked for Daniel's number and got that only. "REPORTS that I asked #SunnyLeone for her number are not true. They are defamatory. At Daboo Ratnani’s party I asked her husband @DanielWeber99 for HIS number and HE entered it into my phone. Publications that carried this scurrilous @Spotboye report must remove it and apologise," clarified Kabir Bedi.

Daniel also called out the publication and said that Kabir Bedi already has Sunny Leone's number since they know each other since many years. "Haha why can’t he ask for my number? He has her number as they know each other many years!! No need to print shit just to get a story. !!!," wrote Daniel on Twitter.
