Once in an interview, Amitabh Bachchan had revealed that he was having a significant financial crisis and was bankrupt. He went to Yash Ji and asked for a job. Mohabbatein and the television show Kaun Banega Crorepati changed his fate, and he got back on his feet.

The famous director-actor duo last worked together in Veer Zara.
