Informs a source close to the Dhawans, “There some people who just cannot be un-present at the wedding. They’re being asked to attend the wedding in Alibaug on January 24. However at the wedding reception on January 27, almost the entire film industry is being invited.”

The source also added that" “The idea to keep an intimate wedding was due to the covid 19 pandemic David Dhawan and Varun Dhawan always intended on a big fat Punjabi. But they being a responsible citizen will adhere to all the precautions,and will keep the wedding affair small and sober."

According to a source of Bollywood Hungama, the Dhawan's have booked an entire resort facing the beach in Aibaugh that will offer a great view of the wedding festivities. The wedding functions are scheduled to be happening for three days, January 22, 23, and 24.
