The Paradise Crosses Rs 100 Crore In India

Nani and Srikanth Odela’s The Paradise has achieved a major box-office milestone in its first week. According to trade figures cited in the report, the action thriller added more than Rs 4.40 crore in India on Tuesday from 5,772 shows. This took its India net collection to Rs 101.50 crore, while its India gross stood at around Rs 120 crore.

The film had opened strongly in theatres, but its daily earnings have gradually slowed following mixed reactions from audiences. The Tuesday collection was around 12% lower than the previous day’s Rs 5 crore haul.

Worldwide Collection Reaches Rs 150.50 Crore

The film has also maintained a sizeable presence in overseas markets. On Tuesday, The Paradise added approximately Rs 50 lakh from international territories, taking its overseas gross collection to Rs 30.50 crore.

With its India gross of around Rs 120 crore and overseas earnings, the film’s worldwide gross has reached Rs 150.50 crore. The coming days will determine how strongly it sustains its theatrical run after the initial opening-week momentum.

Nani And Srikanth Odela Reunite After Dasara

The Paradise marks Nani’s second collaboration with filmmaker Srikanth Odela after their 2023 film Dasara. Nani plays Jadal, a rugged character in the action drama, which is set against the backdrop of the slums of 1980s Secunderabad.

The story revolves around a marginalised community dealing with social discrimination and the denial of basic rights. The film features Kayadu Lohar, Raghav Juyal, Mohan Babu, Sonali Kulkarni and Sampoornesh Babu in key roles, while Keerthy Suresh is set to make a special appearance. The film released on September 24 in multiple languages.
