15 May could be the new release date for 'Maatrubhumi'

According to reports, the film might release on 15 May 2026. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “The extra shoot for the film is complete and it will be ready soon. So, the makers want to release it early. They are looking at several options and are seriously considering 15 May.”

Why was the release of 'Maatrubhumi' postponed twice?

The source added, 'At one point, there was a plan to release the film on Independence Day, but that won't be possible because Aamir Khan Productions has taken that slot for the Sunny Deol starrer ‘Lahore 1947’.' Now, the makers might decide on a new date between May or July to October.
