The apartment, situated in the well-known Vaastu building in Bandra West, has reportedly been rented to Aditya Shukla under a five-year leave-and-license agreement. Reports also suggest that the deal includes a five per cent rent escalation clause along with a hefty ₹45 lakh security deposit.

Spread across nearly 2,460 square feet, the plush apartment is no ordinary Mumbai home. Ranbir had reportedly bought the property in 2016 for around ₹35 crore, making it one of the most talked-about celebrity residences in the city.

This apartment is not just another luxury property attached to a Bollywood celebrity. For fans of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, the home carries a special emotional value.

It was at this very residence that the couple tied the knot on April 14 in an intimate wedding ceremony attended by close friends and family. The now-famous balcony wedding instantly became one of Bollywood’s most loved celebrity moments, with pictures flooding social media for days.

Adding another layer of glamour to the property, the interiors were designed by celebrity designer Gauri Khan, who has styled homes for several stars across the industry. From elegant aesthetics to its prime location, the apartment had all the ingredients of a classic Bollywood dream address.

The Kapoor Family’s New Chapter At Krishna Raj Bungalow

Nearly a year ago, Ranbir and Alia shifted from the Vaastu apartment to their new family residence — the iconic Krishna Raj Bungalow in Pali Hill. The couple now lives there with their daughter Raha.

The six-storey bungalow reportedly carries an estimated value of around ₹250 crore and is co-owned by Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor. The property also holds deep emotional significance for the Kapoor family as it is named after Rishi Kapoor’s mother.

While Ranbir may have moved into a grander address, his former apartment clearly hasn’t lost its charm. After all, when a home comes with Bollywood history, designer interiors, and a celebrity postcode, the rent naturally enters blockbuster territory too.
