Raju Srivastava was admitted to AIIMS in Delhi after he suddenly fainted during his workout session in the gym. He reportedly had suffered a heart attack, after which he was admitted to Delhi’ All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), where he underwent angioplasty. However, soon after the angioplasty, Raju Srivastava was put on a ventilator, but his condition was said to be critical.
The 58-year-old comic was born on December 25, 1963. He hailed from the Kanpur district in Uttar Pradesh.
Before gaining popularity as one of the country's top comedians, Raju was an actor who started his career around the late 1980s. Apart from being a comedian and an actor, Raju was also a political leader with the Bharatiya Janata Party.
