Puneeth Rajkumar to Sidharth Shukla to Raj Kaushal, celebs who passed away in 40s due to cardiac arrest

Popular Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar passed away on Friday after suffering a heart attack. The actor was rushed to the Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru after complaining of chest trouble at around 11.30 am. But doctors failed to revive him. Puneeth is affectionately known as Appu by his followers. He is the son of Kannada matinée icon Dr Rajkumar and film producer Parvathamma Rajkumar.

Puneeth has appeared in more than 29 Kannada films. Appu (2002), Abhi (2003), Veera Kannadiga (2004), Mourya (2004), Aakash (2005), Ajay (2006), Arasu (2007), Milana (2007), Vamshi (2008), Raam (2009), Jackie (2010), Hudugaru (2011), Raajakumara (2017), and Anjani Putra (2017) are among his financially successful films (2017). He began his career as a child artist, winning the National Film Award for Best Child Artist in 1985 for his role in Bettada Hoovu. For his performances in Chalisuva Modagalu and Yeradu Nakshatragalu, he received the Karnataka State Award for Best Child Artist.

Sidharth Shukla's career had only begun to flourish before the actor's untimely death on September 2, 2021. According to many media reports, the 40-year-old took medication before going to bed and never woke up. Sidharth, who began his career as a model, is most known for his appearances on series such as Balika Vadhu, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Big Boss 13 (which he won), and most recently Broken But Beautiful. He also participated in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania as a supporting actor opposite Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan.

Raj Kaushal's death recently made news; the famous Indian director, producer, and stunt director is most known for his work in Bollywood in the 1990s and 2000s; he was married to Bollywood star and TV personality Mandira Bedi, with whom he has a kid. He died of a heart attack on June 30, 2021, at the age of 50.

Amit Mistry was a well-known theatre, TV, and film actor, most recognised for his work in Gujarati theatre and Bollywood films such as Shor in the City, Saat Phero Ki Hera Pherie, Dafa 420, and, most recently, Bandish Bandits. He died earlier this year at the age of 47 due to heart difficulties. Amit's latest work was the musical hit series Bandish Bandits, which aired on Amazon Prime.
 

Inder Kumar, a Bollywood actor, stole fans' hearts with his performances in films like Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, Agnipath, Tumko Na Bhool Payenge, and Salman Khan's Wanted. However, the actor's life was cut short at the age of 44 when he had a heart attack at his Mumbai home late at night on July 28, 2017.

Vinod Mehra began his film career as a child actor in the late 1950s before becoming an adult actor in 1971. He appeared in almost 100 films before dying at the age of 45 in 1990. Mehra passed away on October 30, 1990, after a heart attack. He was just 45 years old at the time. Rohan Mehra, Vinod Mehra's son, made his film debut in Nikhil Advani's "Baazaar."

Vivek Shauq was not just a talented comedian but also an actor, writer, and vocalist. Along with films, he appeared in TV series such as "Ulta Pulta" and "Flop Show" with well-known comic Jaspal Bhatti. He suffered a heart attack on January 3 and was hospitalised at Thane's Jupiter Hospital. Shauq died of septicemia on January 10, 2011, at the age of 47.  He is well known for his roles in films like as 'Aitraaz,' '36 China Town,' 'Dil Hai Tumara,' 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha,' and 'Tango Charlie.'
