Many individuals still prefer to view movies and web series in the privacy of their own homes. October 2021 seems promising, with a plethora of movies and web series.

Shiddat (October 1 @ Disney+ Hotstar)

This love drama by Jannat filmmaker Kunal Deshmukh stars Sunny Kaushal, Radhika Madan, Mohit Raina, and Diana Penty in two parallel tales, one with Kaushal and Madan and the other with Raina and Penty. Shiddat, which has been delayed by a year owing to COVID-19, will be released on demand rather than in theatres.

Breakpoint (October 1 @ Zee5)

For decades, Indians have honoured India's best tennis duos, Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupati, by winning numerous classic matches and speculating on their many public disagreements. But conjecture will end only when the couple is open and honest about their bromance and division and tells the public what occurred, how it happened, and why it happened. Nitesh Tiwari and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari directed the seven-episode series.
