Vicky Kaushal's brother Sunny Kaushal reveals how his family reacted to the news of his brother getting engaged to Katrina Kaif

For the last few months, news of Katrina Kaif allegedly dating URI actor Vicky Kaushal has been going around and making a lot of noise. Their love life has been grabbing headlines and also a hot topic in many celeb interviews.
 

Actor Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor had also spoken about Kat and Vicky's relationship and confirmed that the two are dating. In a conversation with host Renil Abraham on Zoom’s ‘By Invite Only Season 2,’ Kapoor was asked about an industry relationship rumour that he thinks is true. Replying to this, Harshvardhan said, “Vicky and Katrina are together, that's true.” He later asks, “Am I going to get in trouble for saying this? I don't know.

A few weeks ago, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal were rumoured to engage in a secret roka ceremony. But later, Katrina's team has clarified that there is no truth to these rumours. 
 

And another report published by Lifestyle Asia said that Katrina and Vicky are all set to get married in December 2021 in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Later they removed the articles from their website. 

So, when Vicky's bother Sunny Kaushal was asked how their family reacted to the news of Vicky Kaushal getting engaged with Katrina Kaif surfaced online. Sunny said to Spotboye.com, “Not true at all.” However, the rumours became so big that even the whole family must have heard about them. Ask Sunny how the family reacted to it and he says, “We laughed.”
 

Sunny also added, “I remember that Vicky had gone to the gym in the morning when the rumours started coming. So, when he returned home, mom and dad funnily asked him, ‘Arre yaar, teri engagement ho gayi, mithai to khila de’. And then Vicky told them, ‘Jitni asli engagement hui hai, utni asli mithai bhi kha lo’,” he laughs.

Vicky brother Sunny also said, “We don’t know where it all came from, but we all were laughing so hard because of that.” 
 

On the work front, Katrina will be soon seen in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film Sooryavanshi, with Akshay Kumar, Phone Bhoot and an untitled one with Vijay Deverakonda and Jee Le Zaraa, which stars Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra. Vicky's next big projects are The Immortal Ashwatthama, Sardar Udham Singh and Takht.
