According to the site Sacnilk, the film grossed ₹72.15 crore in three days. On its third day, it earned ₹19 crore in India. Interestingly, the collections on Sunday were higher than on Saturday. The three-day India gross stands at ₹58.65 crore, with a net collection of ₹50.50 crore. In the overseas market, it collected ₹3.50 crore on the third day, bringing the total overseas collection to ₹13.50 crore. It's no exaggeration to say the film will cross the ₹100 crore mark in the next two days and head towards the ₹200 crore club.

Irumudi breaks even in just two days
Reports suggest that the budget for 'Irumudi' was ₹40 crore. The theatrical business was reportedly around ₹20 crore. The rights were sold for ₹5.50 crore in Nizam, ₹2.25 crore in Ceded, and ₹8.25 crore in Andhra. Overseas and Rest of India rights were sold for ₹2 crore each. This means the film needed to earn a share of ₹21 crore (approx. ₹40 crore gross) to be a hit. The movie achieved this break-even target in just two days and is now bringing in huge profits for both producers and distributors.

The story of Irumudi
In 'Irumudi', Ravi Teja plays Trinath, a banana plantation farmer. After a long wait, he is blessed with a daughter, whom he names Manikanta. However, some local goons start harassing girls in the village, especially those who travel for their education. To make matters worse, Manikanta's school teacher also troubles her under the guise of 'special classes'. The story revolves around what his daughter tells him and how Ravi Teja steps up to protect the girls. The film is packed with emotion and sentiment, keeping the audience hooked.
