Lara Dutta reveals she heard blasts during a shoot in Dubai

Actress Lara Dutta shared a video on Instagram, saying she's been in a tense situation for days. "We've been in Dubai since the Israel-Iran war started. The UAE, Dubai has been my home for three years," she said. "On the 28th, I was shooting in a Dubai studio when we heard loud blasts from above. We ran out of the studio and saw missiles being intercepted in the sky. I won't lie, these have been some very stressful days."

Lara was in Dubai with her daughter, but her husband was not with them

Lara Dutta added that her daughter Saira was with her when she heard the explosions, but her husband Mahesh Bhupathi was travelling for work. "My daughter is here with me, Mahesh was out for work. Thankfully, he wasn't in Dubai at that time," she said.

Lara Dutta described the scene with fighter jets and loud blasts.

Describing the situation, Lara Dutta also mentioned fighter jets flying in the sky and loud explosions. She said, "I just want to say that we are nervous and it has been scary. A lot of fighter jets are flying overhead, and you can hear loud blasts. We live in a villa in a very safe area, but the windows start shaking, the house and doors tremble. It's unsettling. But not once did I feel unsafe."

Lara Dutta praised the UAE government for its handling of the situation.

The actress heavily praised the United Arab Emirates government for the security arrangements. She says, “I just want to say that the UAE government has done an incredible job. For every single person, I won't speak for anyone else, but we were handled so well. We felt that we matter here, that we are being protected, no matter what our nationality is.”

Lara Dutta got emotional while trying to find a flight back to Mumbai.

Lara Dutta got emotional towards the end of the video, with tears welling up in her eyes. She said, "We are looking for flights. There aren't many, but there are some from Etihad and Emirates. We are trying to get back to Mumbai somehow. Especially because the kids are more nervous. We adults are too, but we keep it together for the children. No ordinary citizen should have to live in fear."
