In an old interview, Soha spoke about the first time when she talked about Kunal with Sharmila Tagore. She even mentioned that she never interacted with Mansoor Ali Khan about boys. Hence she did not mention anything about Kunal to him.

Soha said, "I would have never told my father directly about boys. I relied on others to tell him. She met Kunal on the set of 99, and unfortunately, he was doing a scene in which he had to wear a pink bathrobe," said Soha in an HT interview.
